Memorial Plaque in Belton Church

There are two plaques in Belton Church to commemorate the soldiers who died in services during the two World Wars. Each year there is a special service at the Church on Remembrance Sunday.

Young and old meet together in this act of remembrance to remember not just the servicemen who died in the two world wars but in conflicts since then including the present conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
